If gambit was not enough without shard, that won't change. What will change is that banebow's ability, soul seeker and DMT will definitely one shot all your allies, whereas they may not have otherwise.

Shard may still be strong, but that's going to be because you have enough allies with haste to deathrace BB, and shard gives you the extra damage to do it. I just don't see how you can argue that it somehow makes your allies more resillient. With regards to gambit, it's neutral; with regards to everything else, they're more fragile.
I'm not saying Shard is strong, I actually think it's quite the opposite unless you are constantly running allies on the field. Regarding it's interaction with Gambit, it prevents BB from getting an easy kill with the health reduction so he still has to utilize other resources. It was more of pointing out an interaction than arguing the strength of the card. If you want to make allies resilient, run undead with Dread Resistance.

Rogue with shuriken beats BB so easiliy. BB tends to accumulate threats on board so destroy WotF first and shuriken to stop him.

Ele doesn't beat BB all the time. The one who goes second tends to win in this match up.
