Whats the deal with the merchant running out of a specific card? Never experienced that until tonight when i tried to buy supernova??????? Can anyone explain.

The merchant does maintain a virtual stock of cards, so it does run out of certain especially popular cards. It does restock from time to time, and can also get cards back when someone sells off an extra copy of a card that they might have. But it doesn't just have an infinite supply of all cards.

It's a virtual stock system that randomly desides to stock up even when no new cards are opened or sold. It makes no sense. Magic happens and new cards appear from nowhere.

Why have the system in the first place if it stocks up by magicing cards out of nowhere?
