Hello everyone! For those unaware, I'm back around in order to take on Regionals this year, and I'll be playing in the Americas bracket in 30ish hours from now. Just for kicks, I figured I'd open up this thread and see if any of the veterans who still remember me can accurately guess what deck I'll be using in the swiss. No real prize other than internet points, and guildies are ineligible for obvious reasons. After the event is fully over (both swiss and top 8), I'll post a write-up on the old site like always explaining my card choices and strategy.

I don't think that deck is particularly good right now. There's a Threbin version that works better but I don't see that being good either.


That said, Zhanna can definitely be a thing.

So, Eladwen. I was testing Haste Zhanna but didn't like what I was seeking. Viska didn't do what I wanted her to do and there isn't a card in the priest pool that could really replace her, so I'd rather use a deck where I want every card in the 39 to be there. Also I wanted to be faster because the less time you actually have to spend playing in swiss the better and my priest games were taking way too long. 16-17 minutes average means going into overtime every round of the event, and those are the numbers I was seeing.
