    About Enslave the Beast..

Can someone tell me exactly how this card works to deal the -2 damage to your opponent's hero? I've played a Vess deck recently and it seems when the card has been attached a couple turns, it no longer does the damage described.

Does killing your opponent's ally while ETB is attached count as "the card leaving play"?

Or does it only count as leaving play when the card itself kills the ally?

Hi. However the ally is killed, ETB should do the 2 damage to the relevant hero. If ETB leaves play (e.g. bounced or destroyed), it should also do the 2 damage.

Do you have a replay showing it not working where you think it should?

I might of just missed it. Either 1. My opponent had some sort of armor that absorbed the damage.. or 2. There is a delay when I kill an ally with ETB attached. For instance, when my opponent's ally is killed, the attack action from beggining to end (ally to graveyard) , seems to end after the -2 damage has been done. So the -2 damage "red number effect" cannot be seen because it happens behind the attack and discard sequence.

Wheras when ETB itself kills an ally, the -2 damage can be seen right away.

This gives the sense that the damage was never done. Especially in the heat of battle when you aren't really focused on your opponent's current hero health.

Yes, I think this is it. Just a graphical issue then?

So what exactly is your issue with this card? That it is not working as intended or that you fail to observe its effects?
I play Vess a lot and never miss the damage indicator of this card.

Yeah, I haven't had an issue with seeing ETB's effect before... I do pay close attention to my opponent's health, so I'll admit that sometimes I miss the damage indicator and just notice their health has dropped.

Yes, after playing several matches I conclude that it's a graphical issue. I wish the damage indicator would pop up after an attack/ally to graveyard sequence. It would make it a bit easier.

But having said that, I need not to worry since I know 100% now that -2 damage will be done regardless of the indicator.

Sorry guys for my lack of focus
