Oh, sweetie! I am no help in the tattoo department but I just wanted to send some love your way. Memorial tattoos are such a personal and special way to remember and honor someone. Best wishes for getting what you have in mind designed.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Much love and comfort your way. I wish I could help but I'm not an artist by any means, I would love to see some of the more talented artists in the SE community reach out and help with this though.

He passed 5 years ago on my birthday and ive wanted this tattoo ever since but i dont want it drawn by just anyone you know what i mean? I want there to be meanings in multiple levels behind it. I want someone from the community here to draw it and a good friend of mine to tattoo it.

I am sorry for your loss even if it was 5 years ago. It must be horrible losing a child. Sorry, but I'm not help in the tatoo situation, but good luck finding an artist!

I can't even imagine! Bro your stronger than me! But here a few ideas.

There is the Photorealistic portrait, pick the best picture you can and make your artist draw and redraw it! Until you love it, and really research the artist you choose, this must be perfect!

There's the standard type memorial, pict a type face you like and write your child's name , date of birth, ( date of passing if you choose) it's normaly written in a scroll or banner.

My favorite is a code of arms, Shield with 3-4 sections, each containing something meaningful about your son. Name across the top, something meaningful across the bottom ( beloved Son, My Angel, you get the idea)

If you would like , contact me and I'll sketch a few ideas for you and send them to you, but then, and this is very important, Have your tattoo artist draw the final piece on paper, until you like it, then and only then move on to scale and placement on your body. ( if you have even a single doubt, live with the transfer on your body for 24 hrs) you'll know after that.
A reputable and caring artist should have no problem taking these steps, especially with the subject your asking for.

    All the best my friend!
