It seems that for some reason DT does not lose durability when attacking and killing FT (or possibly other allies, but with some others, no problem)
Example: 5tumbl vs Mr Kull, 20 min ago

That's supposed to happen. The ability of DT allows it to not lose durability if it enters combat with an ally of cost 5 or more, all other allies that are cost 4 or less will wear down Dragon's Tooth

Wasn't always this way though, was actually a very recent change they made to it. Makes Dragon's Tooth pretty crazy strong when you think about it. Keep in mind though that this only applies to it attacking allies, 5cc or above allies attacking it won't be killed and the weapon will lose durability.Originally Posted by LucasBlitz

Ok thanks for the answers.... I remembered it wasn't like that...
Anyway, good that the cards descrptions are not too clear... Allows for some changes from time to time
How does an old card get a change after being printed? The card does not mention anything about durability either...

It didn't get changed there was a reinterpretation of the rules

it was actually a bug fix that led to a different understanding of the rules. The bug in question was: Dragon's Tooth attacks an ally with decoy trap up, and the ally still dies.
Essentially what was happening was Dragon's tooth would do 1 damage to the ally, Decoy Trap would prevent this, then Dragon's Tooth would kill the ally.
But that's wrong because the card, Dragon's tooth actually says that it kills the ally when the hero attacks them. So really the way it should happen is Dragon's tooth attacks, kills the ally (prevented by decoy trap) and then deals damage to them.
So they fixed that bug.
Well, turns out that if an ally dies before a weapon connects, it doesn't lose durability. This has already been the case for other weapons, like Eldmore Crossbow, Rogue weapons on defense, when attacked while wearing Black Garb and Weapons affected by Threbin's ability.
So if the weapon kills on attack, before dealing damage, then it should not lose durability. Essentially the way Dragon's Tooth was working was inconsistent with the way all other weapons in similar situations work: i.e. a bug.
To make it work the way that you want, it would therefore take a rewording of the card text, or a reworking of the rules themselves. Both of those are actually sort of difficult to achieve...and the Devs assuming / hoping that it wouldn't affect the balance too much, decided to just go with the new interpretation. And you know, I was worried at first, but I haven't seen this being abused, or something that really threatens the balance of the game.
