For a Hasted ally, the strength comes from its attack point regardless of its health point. A 2/2 Krygon is just as strong as a 2/4 Krygon because of this reason. Sure he cannot last longer, but only if you can take back the board which Krygon helped secured in the first place.
Compared to
Viska, she costs 6cc but only comes with 3 attack, and unique.
FFM costs same 3cc, but only 1 attack.
Wild Berserker costs 5cc, still only 2 attack.
Dread Wolf also costs 3cc, but only 1 attack, and although it can buff itself with every attack, Krygon's ability is better since it can spread out the buff to many allies, and it can also ping 1 damage to enemies.
Lightning Hunter costs 4cc, comes with a whopping 3 attack but with 2 drawbacks which balanced it.
Demetreyo is another ally that costs 3cc, but basically just a
Fireball.
Ravager Zealot is good, but balanced by being very Ravager-limited.
Deepwood Bobcat needs more cc played to activate its haste.
So yeah, the problem with Krygon is not 2 attack, but 2 attack with haste, fits any Shadow deck, deals 1 damage without retaliation, buff attack-ability based allies and you keep seeing it every T3.
I don't mind Krygon getting back its old ability, but it should not start with 2 attack, at least not for a 3cc ally.
