Victor ability errata

Im sure this has been mentioned before more than once but......

Victors ability is supposed to return the top hunter card in the graveyard to his hand, but it doesn't seem to actually work this way nor has it ever as far as I'm aware.

Today I played a victor who had wrath of the forest on top of his graveyard. He activated his ability and instead of getting the wrath back he got his deep wood bobcat, played hunters gambit and swung away for the win.

Very frustrating.

If his ability is only supposed to work on allies and abilities then change the wording on his ability to reflect this please!

Victor's ability returns the top card 'hunter' card in your graveyard to your hand. 'hunter' card in this instance refers to the card's type. To find out what type of card we are dealing with we look at the middle of the card. For example, Victor himself is a 'Human Hero - Hunter.'

In your example, the reason Deepwood Bobcat was returned to his hand instead of wrath of the forest is because wrath of the forest does not have the 'hunter' card type. Deepwood Bobcat is a 'Hunter Ally' whereas Wrath of the Forest is a 'Hero Item - Armor.' As such, Bobcat was the top hunter card in Victor's graveyard.
