I didn't I just thought he sort of looked like a possessed knight. Although I will admit I after looking at your suggestion I see what you mean and will agree that the concept is quite similar although the gameplay would be quite different. Also it is possible that I was influence by your suggestion without realizing it so if you want I'll change my suggestion to something a bit more needed or creative.

Reasons I think a strategy that revolves around decking your opponent might be interesting being that the decks are usually small. This would allow one to use such a strategy since there are no cards that directly destroy things off the top of your opponents deck and forcing them to draw is impossible do to the maximum hand size this would allow to one to deck them but at great risk of losing do to their massive card advantage. I have no clue how this would work but it is probably unique and I thought the idea might be interesting.

Interesting combos with Brutalis and Fire snake, as well as more powerful allies.
I was bored and found this by accident.

Considering Shadow Allies only have a single two drop, yet viable options for turns 3 and 4, I felt it made sense to give them a more offensive option for turn two, much like how the Human Allies have Puwen and Blake. In exchange for 1 life, he is able to create a 1/1 token when he dies, keeping him from being a carbon copy of Puwen, adding a new dynamic to the game, and keeping with the endurance/longevity theme the shadow allies share for the most part. While the art looks awesome, the appearance is generic enough not to warrant a unique -personality- for the card, like Aeon, so it seems suitable that it represent a kind of mass produced, fire and forget kind type of unit.
Name: Reanimation
Casting Cost: 3
Card Type: Shadow Ability
Effect: Return the last ally to be put into a graveyard into play on your side.
Flavor Text: "I'm not done with you yet."
Bodyguard
Shadow Ability
Cost: 2
Effect: Ongoing: Guardian. Your hero can not be targeted as long as you have Guardian in play.
Flavour: Over my dead body!
It is a variation on Protector ability, but this one protects your hero. It can prove to be useful with for example Gargoyle, or other buff cards (life infusion, reinforced armor)
