I assume you mean locked down?

I can't say it will be locked down by then, since we only lock it down at the last minute before printing, but I'm hoping 2.87 will be the last group of balance changes and we'll likely stick with that balance all the way through to WC2014, unless there is something majorly wrong with the balance.

That's probably the most sad topic ever in this forum... You prefer to host a clownish World Cup rather than being honest and going straight to 2015. Pretty much in line with score system and every other "improvement" into SE competitive scene.

Why are you assuming it will be a "clownish" World Cup? The first world cup was not something that took the entire year to fill in the spots and it worked well. The format where the top players were picked across several tournaments that were held was done in a few (one?) of the WCs and some worked well and others not so well. Sometimes the simpler format is the one that leads to less issues.

For me, it's more meaningful to have a WC every year. There will be some that will good and others that will be bad. They need to advertise it well beforehand though so that inactive players who might be drawn to that event will be aware of it and will have enough time to practice for it. But seriously, Wulven needs to get a more organised and set format for the WC that will be consistent across the years. You want to have WC champions that you can compare across the years because of their skills and not because the format for one year was different to another.
