    Tips to stop smoking.

    Hey folks, i need your helps, i must stop smoking those dirty cigarettes, but am not tuff enought ATM. I already know some tips, but i can't use them anymore, i share it if it can help:

    1- Smoke only Ganja, worked well for me when i was 20~25 year old, . But i prefer keep my driving license.
    2- Read the bible and pray all the days, worked well when i was 30 years old. But i prefer keep my mind not too high, .
    3- Having a wife. But i prefer keep my bank account far from the red, .

    So how did you manage to stop this dangerous habit?

    To break a habit, you need to break the pattern of behaviour and ideally replace with a new pattern of behaviour.

    You also need the motivation to complete the act of breaking/replacing the pattern.

    So, for your smoking, I would suggest a few things:

    1) Get motivated to quit either by adding some external incentive for yourself or imposing some terrible punishment by smoking. The health effects and whatever other intrinsic costs of smoking do not feel real enough to you at this time, so are not motivating you enough to change. e.g. If I quit, I will buy that car I wanted. If I don't quit, I will burn my SE physical cards.

    2) Hide your cigarettes such that you can't go and smoke them. Don't go any places where you can buy them. This will interrupt the habit. Your addiction will still cause you to go out of your way to get them, but it will disrupt it somewhat. The harder you make it to do the habit, the better. Avoid situations that might lead to you smoking too.

    3) Smoking meets a need for you, which is why you started and continued until it became a habit. You need to find an alternative way of meeting that need. Smoking makes you feel relaxed and happier, right? Learn some meditation or play an immersive computer game instead.

    Feel free to tweak, but you need these three types of things: MOTIVATION, DISRUPTION, REPLACEMENT.

    Have any of you ever watched steven kings the cats eye? There is a short film in which the mafia goes "legit" in starting a business stopping smokers. You should catch the flick it's funny and entertaining all the same. On another note, honestly have the doctors take a picture of your lungs and point out the damage it's done. Then show you pictures and or videos of what the cancer does within and without your body. That may get you motivated.
