grimjaw hydra defending raven wildheart

which effect is applied last if say a raven (no ambush or lethal damage) attacks hydra? will the hydra defend or just get stuck to 0 atk? thanks

Heya,

When Raven deals combat damage to Grimjaw Hydra, both allies abilities trigger at the same time. We will then use the Standard Resolution Order (SRO) to determine that the turn player's cards will resolve their abilities before the opponent's cards. As such, Raven will drop Grimjaw Hydra's base attack to 0 first and the Hydra will increase its base attack by 2 afterwards (giving it 2 attack). The Hydra will then defend and deal 2 damage to Raven (removing her passive ability until the start of your next turn).
