    Campaign Encounters

    We've been busy behind the scenes getting the highly anticipated Campaign Mode ready! Through campaigns, we will tell the stories of how each hero earned their shadow crystal and became the fighters we know them as today. It will also explain the details of the very start of the war.

    We'd like to give the community the opportunity to contribute to this exciting addition to Shadow Era. We have the basic story of each hero and their main battles, but there are also a lot of other side battles that our heroes will need to go through on their way to dominating Balor. Will Victor need to take on a boss Fire Snake? What happens when Eladwen Frostmare is surrounded by a pack of Wulven? We want to hear your ideas for these side battles!



    To enter, post the following below or email contests@wulven.com:
    *One short paragraph describing the encounter to the player
    *AI Hero; any Shadow Era ally that is not a Hero card
    *Any modifications to health and/or attack of AI Hero. No modifications to ability allowed. eg Firesnake with 30 health
    *AI deck list; no modification to these cards allowed



    Prizes:
    *Eternal Fame and Glory! We'll announce the winners here and on our social media channels. You'll also see a version of your entry in the actual game!
    *All entries chosen for the game will receive 1,000 Shadow Crystals
    *A special grand prize of signed cards will be shipped out to the ultimate Campaign creator!

    You can enter multiple times!

    We will be accepting entries until November 1st, 2014. Winning entries may be edited to fit official lore before being added to the game.


    FAQ
    Q. So what happens with allies with passives?
    A. If it’s passive it still works the same on the AI hero as it did as an ally.

    Q. What about on summon abilities on the AI hero, like Shadow Knight for example?
    A. He’s a Hero and begins on the board, therefore his ability will never be triggered.

    Q. I'm not sure how the combination of hero attack power + item power works.
    A. They get added together but the weapon durability is used.

    Q. Can I add deck building restrictions?
    A. You can not have deck building restrictions for the player. However, the AI deck does not have restrictions. You can have more than four of the same card and you can ignore class restrictions, if you want. eg. You can add ten Firesnakes fighting for Dirk!

    Q. Will the game always start the same way, meaning with 0 resources and 6-7 cards on first turn?
    A. Yes, for these missions.

    Q. Is a Hero Ally still a Ally?
    A. If he is used as a Hero in the deck, he is treated as a Hero in the game and not an Ally.

    Q. One short paragraph describing encounter to which player?!
    A. The paragraph is for the person playing the game to give them some context of what the encounter is about and perhaps hint at what to expect.

    Q. Any modifications to health and/or attack of AI hero only? What about passive/active ability?
    A. Yes, mortifications to health and or the attack of the AI Hero only. You can not change the text of the ability.

    Q. AI deck list? Where is that?
    A. The deck list tells us what cards you think the AI should have.

    Q. What about AI name? Can it be Fire Snake Queen or Dirk Saber the Silent?[/QUOTE]
    A. No the name of the card can not be changed. However, you can use the encounter description to set up the scenario. e.g. "You meet the Fire Snake Queen" (then AI is Fire Snake with larger health and damage).

    Q. Is there official lore I have to follow?
    A. We can always make edits or additions to the final encounter to make it fit with official lore. You may want to check out the article on the Balor map (http://www.shadowera.com/content.php...e-Map-of-Balor) for a downloadable link. The detail you can see when you zoom in on the map is great and it might bring you some inspiration.     Q. What if the email on the account is different from the in game for whatever reason; will the reward be rewarded to the forum email or will the individual be contacted?
    A. We'll contact the winners to confirm what game account the rewards should be credited to.

    Human Hero Adventure

    At the last stepping point into encountering Gravebone to destroy him and his minions, they need to cross the wretched Cryptid Swamp to reach his destination. A suspiciously provided pram awaits them to take across the swamp. Idling along the murky waters, a fog surrounds them and an evil voice echoes "Hahaha... welcome to my domain! You shall be apart of my collection, soon enough!". The fog slowly dissipates as Death Collector appears in a larger pram decorated and surrounded by skulls, bones and flesh!

    Enemy Hero: Death Collector
    Modification: 26 Health
    Deck Theme: Undead

    I'm a bit confusled.. I can add the decklist, but did you want a Hero that's modified that is already a hero in Shadow Era? Or do we make up the Hero with Health and ability and the deck list?

    For Example:
    Death Collector
    26 Health
    "3SE: Target Ally in graveyard is Exiled and all friendly allies gain +1 ATK and +1 HP"

    For the Campaign Encounter, the AI hero is an existing ally (not an existing Hero). Just the Health and Attack numbers may be modified (not the ability).

    So in your example, Death Collector with 26 health is fine (the ability needs to stay the same).

    So the AI would be able to use Death collectors original ability every turn at the cost of resources? And would he gain Atk and act like he has a weapon?
