Bigger They Are & Harder They Fall

I have a feeling the cards would be more flavorful if they swap them the other way around.
Human fatties usually have high health. That would limit the usefulness of The Bigger They Are. They run big allies, why would they try to kill big allies?
Shadow fatties, on the contrary usually have higher attack. So running The Bigger They Are in shadow decks would be more useful.

Logically it would make sense to switch them, yes, but I believe they were designed the way they are for a reason, so that they have to be used a little more cleverly and carefully, other than just "Oh, I have 4cc and an ally out, I can just kill something of my opponent's".

^yup if they were easy to use, everyone would always run them, which we don't need in Human/Shadow ally killing abilities - the bulk of that should be handled with in-class cards, where these two cards represent a powerful, but also more situational form of removal. The way they are now, they're good in limited quantities to help come back when a genuine fatty gets dropped, or to be used in decks specifically made for them.

For example, The Harder They Fall could be used in a shadow weenie deck that has a bunch of low attack allies. Then when the opponent plays something big, boom, The Harder They Fall.

Common human allies all got 2-3 attack. For weenie decks, Overwhelm is much better, and it barely sees play, apart from Zaladar.

That's weenie rush - I also see Overwhelm in moonstalker decks.

It's also possible to play weenie -control, where you only really get a lot of weenies out mid-late game. Rogues, Priests, Elementals and Hunters are already able to do this relatively well. These cards give that option to other heroes.

DMT or Crippled Ally with THTF is pretty nice.

Kris/Herald with TBTA is pretty nice too.

As for design intentions, here's some insights:

    1) these are faction cards and not meant to be too strong.

    2) they are designed as a way to turn the game back in your favour as opposed to solidify a board position.

    3) there are ways to use them offensively, as mentioned up above.

    4) they can be handy to remove your own ally from the board for some reason (e.g. Crippled Ogloth)
