Thriss Alamanac + Wand of Izikius

Ok I was attempting to exploit some card interactions but it didn't work, but I'm curious if some of the interactions are working as intended or as a bug.

I have Cleric of the Asyn, Wand of Izikius and Thriss Almanac in play.

1) I use wand to target almanc and convert to ally
A- this current triggers the 2 damage to opposing allies
B- does not buff cleric

2) I summon from hand Slingblade Demon targeting my newly converted Thriss Almanc
A- he's a vanilla ally and does not trigger 2 damage to opposing allies
B- he's a vanilla ally and does not buff cleric

I'm sure all interactions in 2 are correct, but there seems to be a disconnect with the interactions in 1.

Q: When I use Wand of Izikus to make Thoughtful Investment into an ally, what happens to the extra resource? Is it lost?

A: Since Thoughtful Investment loses its ability text due to Wand of Izikus' effect and hasn't been removed from play when this occurs, you will keep the extra resource.

Note: looking at the interaction of wand and thoughtful investment. I think maybe nothing should happen with this conversion. 1A is bugged??

Scenario 1a is a bug. Thriss Almanac was not destroyed so it should not deal 2 damage to all opposing allies. Instead, it was simply changed into an ally.
