      Thoughtripper vs Ironhide k

      I just finished a game a1 kip thorp ( Zal) vs DKdeep ( Serena)

      When I attacked her with ironhide, on an un boosted Thoughtripper C , it didnt kill Ironhide but it did discard from my hand. The cutlass states it has to kill that ally to cause a discard. This a bug, or a rule I can't figure out?
