Hero Tiers (v2.85) ?

Hi all,

I've taken it upon myself to do a bit of analysis on the figures and come up with a consolidated power list (it's not a tier list as you'll see later on).

I created a matrix of five levels based on everyones responses (however I didn't include responses that didn't rate all the heroes, sorry Index and FDL, I just don't want to skew the data) and then applied a weighting to each score set.

Each Tier 1 rating earned the hero 5 points.
Each Tier 2 rating earned the hero 4 points.
Each Tier 3 rating earned the hero 3 points.
Each Tier 4 rating earned the hero 2 points.
Each Tier 5 rating earned the hero 1 point.

This was the end result. The top and bottom were pretty much expected however there were some interesting results in the middle. Bear in mind this is a tiny sample size so if more people want to post their (full) tier listings that would be great. If you do use a five tier system please to preserve data standards.

Thanks. Rothem probably needs to be changed. It's just a finisher ability.

The DT should have access to the server statistics and could simply tell us the heroes with the lowest win rates. I'm starting to think that such a backend doesn´t exist though.

I really don't see how bane bow could not be considered tier 1 by anyone, I'm not even sure what his bad matchups are, maybe zhanna, but she struggles in meta so isn't played much

BB has really bad matchups vs Elementalis (not many on the ladder), Tala (Lots at mid rating), and Lance (not many at the ladder) also has problems vs Garth, Zhanna, Victor.

So basically is a metagame call more than an always T1 deck

This reflects my opinion of hero ranking for most part. I think Moonstalker deserves higher place, and Skervox definitely lower.

Maybe he is for you, but I know how to play against him and counter him

Also there is a lot of tough matchups for him make him very weak and they are used massively as Graveyard resistance undead which is very popular with almost all shadow heroes, decoy traps for hunters esp victor , protector tala, shaman loops with griptooth for wulven heroes, and list goes on

So tier 1 for me has nearly no bad matchups or very little bad matchups

If The Harder They Fall was as consistent as The Bigger They Are ( mostly because the majority of allies both sides have 2-3 attacks and the majority of fatties in the game have high health , which makes THTF extremely clunky to play ) , Banebow would be much stronger .

I still enjoy using him during direct damage/weenies swarm weeks though .

Remember that Tier Lists are highly subjective of the metagame. A T3 Deck could be T1 one day, then drop back to T3 the next.

I personally do not have issues with Lance unless they fatty roll me. Tala is tough, but is managable if you can establish and keep board early. Elementalis the same.

I can agree with Victor though. I always have a very hard time with him, given how he has a much more consistent draw and can afford to go more Trap heavy compared Banebow, so it stalls his solid, yet frail ally control.

Have not faced a good Zhanna yet to make a conclusion.

Same with Garth.
