    Timer in Meltdown Card Choosing

Why do we have a timer while we choose cards for the Meltdown ?

Often time runs out before I finish choosing all 40 card!. I need to read some of the card's text before i make choice which takes some time.

Again, why do we need timer on Meltdown when choosing cards??

You can simply leave and reenter meltdown with the same set of packs you have previously chosen. As long as you don't start an actual game, it won't cost you any golds.

Yeah you will get the same cards over again so no need to rush it if you have to read all the cards

As a Meltdown player myself, I think the question still stands... why does Meltdown have a timer?

To the point, I know I can reset the timer or try different sets of cards by changing my initial pack selection. I don't find it hard to work with since I know most of the cards by now, but it's still a question of asking what does this bring to the game? Knowing there is such an obvious workaround is great, but new players wouldn't know that unless somebody told them or they try it out on their own. The timer just adds a level of frustration or unneeded challenge to Meltdown for players who are newer and need time to read almost all their cards to decide.

If I was face to face in a tournament, a timer would make sense. Since I don't join the Meltdown 'queue' till I choose to pay my gold and start, I'm not holding anyone up. Why the timer?

(Also, for the OP: You only need 30 cards for a Meltdown deck. Sometimes you want more, but if you are aiming for the minimum, 30 is your cap)

I think the original purpose of the timer was so that your opponent couldn't just wait it out. I think you were originally supposed to match with someone THEN build the deck. So yeah, I don't get the point of the timer anymore. I also think the checking of each pack outcome needs to go too...

    +1 on removing the timer

it isn't needed to speed up the queue and is just unnecessarily unwelcoming for new players.
and if we are talking patching, how about a volume slider for the music and sound? Shadow Era is always 3 times louder than anything else on my PC.

    That's a good point, I don't think there's a need for that timer now.
