Hello everyone!
I have been looking around and reading the forum for a few days now but I finally decided to start talking.
It looked customary to create a thread as new comer to present myself so there we go:
I think I downloaded SE about a year ago but I didn't have the patience to really try to understand the rules.
I got Victor as my champion, played a few games against the AI, lost once or twice I think, got to level 2, uninstalled the game and didn't think about it.
A few month later I played a TCG online called "elements", got addicted for a few night (was procrastinating during my studies)... then left it aside as well, never getting really good at it.
I don't have much more TCG experience other than that...
Ten days ago, I was looking for a free TCG, and found this game again, not realising I had tried before (until I had to remember my old password in order to log in).
I tried again and this time I started to actually understand more or less how it worked. I also realised that I didn't need to pay money for more cards... (which I thought I had to at first). That same day I did an all-nighter against the world AI trying to get a deck of 40 cards with my hero Victor that I had chosen 1 year ago.
And here we are, a bit more than a week later. I switched from Victor to Ythan which, as I understand, is not very popular at the moment (except for the twilight rush built) but I had fun with him during this week of learning so I think I am going to stick to him for a while.
I am slowly and steadily getting to a rating of 200, still tweaking my deck.
In the end SE is definitely more entertaining that I thought at first.
I really enjoy it and I look forward to improve and have more interesting games.
But I think every game has a limit of entertainment on its own, and what I didn't do in the other TCG was to start interacting with players. The relational factor is always, in my experience, what makes a game something more.
As I looked around the forum, the community really gave me a positive impression so I guess I am going to try to get involved and get to know the players.
So once again:
Hello everyone!
I am Acio, French (sort of) guy, living in England, wanting to learn and get better but also to get to know people and have some games with people that I actually know.
My IGN is Acio (finally got rid of this stupid number... XD)
Looking forward to meet you!
