I can understand why you working as gameplay designer in this other ccg is a past tense statement.
Quality always trumps quantity and I can not stand top decking...even as a mage.

Still winning. 216 rating now. Please let me know what rating I need to achieve to validate my point. Again, one been playing the deck for all if 4 days.
I agree with the point of quality vs quantity. However quality is dependant On Curcumstance. Early in, ogling is a discard and bazaar is a keeper . Later in the match, high cost cards are valuable because you can play them.
Remember, the 4 card limit applies to counters as well. So after your opponent is all out of mind controls or crippling blows or transmit graphic curses, a deck with this system will still have plenty "pivotal" allies.

Well a 280 would be suffice and then maintaining that all season but if you wanna prove yourself do a pop up tourney where people have their decks teched and optimized.
If you want a control deck here:http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....l&goto=newpost
But honestly only time I see high level players using a lot which is 50-70 is in praixx cause he mills.
But if you need that many cards I always say effectiveness is being poor. My Threbin is nothing but control just gotta time things right and lead your opponent into fatal mistakes. But I don't think big decks suck just not optimal in high level of play where mistakes are rarely ever made and people are twice as risky

I had a really awful signature in the past so i changed it.
Your large deck construction takes away the possibility of a deck playing the same every time you play it.
Sure you have a chance to win against every deck since you take every card but that doesnt mean you get what you need when you need it.
Your theories on construction rely Heavily on luck. If you play a deck 10 times, your game will change every time, the times you win will only be when your deck was lucky enough to produce the counter.
For the most part we all agree with standard 40 you need to run 6-8 draw. Even then you can get a bad draw and end up top decking.
How many do you run? Do you keep the same 15-20% ratios?
You say certain cards are for earl and some for late, what happens when you keep dead drawing early game cards in the late game?
Do you realize how much easier it is to play against a deck that you Know has all the cards?
Win 2 tournaments with a tower deck, then prove you can beat a single deck in a best of 10 games. Then I will wonder why you are no longer game designer for this other ccg. Until then, good luck, we both know you really need it.
Ps. My alternate account that runs all my gimmicks and 'fun' decks (hardcore stall, pure tribals, pure rush, mill, solo, etc.) hovers at 250 rating. These are decks I know wont be competitive and they made it to 250, at 216 people still have their starter decks....rating is not a good judge of the player or deck. Prove you can win.

Obtain a very high rating 275-300 and win consistantly.
As to the 4 card limit. The amount of chaos caused by those pivotal cards , whether it's damage or just screwing up your current plan is enormous , and a good player will wait until he can maximize that chaos, like holding MC's until you play that fattie ally. Or waiting for you to drop a few more allies and then tidal waving them all.
Huge decks can win, but that can not win consitantly. And that's what players want most. IMO.
Nice to meet ya btw.

Dont be harsh. Its his play style. I know a lot of people play different styles and then people who think thier style is better (even if it isnt) are mean to them. The creator of this thread has accepted your point of view, and has attempted to be better, while you have been writing long hate paragraphs… seriously? I agree that small decks are probably better, but you only need to make your point so many times. If this person wants to play with a large deck, let him.
