Yea he's pretty much going for budget. Remember that death collector is rarer than crypstawn so it will be cheaper than DC goldwise.

Thanks LF for this guide. I'm sure its more difficult fitting all those cards in such a minimal budget. Trying to use CotC and DP only was difficult. I can't imagine how troublesome this was for you.

Overall, I think this should be stickied. Its a good start for new players to enjoy shadowera as a whole =]

    Good job LF =]

Awesome job Lightning Fury and Blue Phoenix!

This is really an incredible piece of work considering the budget you had!

A lot of the card choices I agree with... since the overall aim is not to build the best decks in them game... but to buy the best value for money cards to include into a wide variety of decks.

    What I do question is:

    - I feel humans are lacking in draw in general (priest decks in general with only chalice). In Raph's original piece, He had Tressured heirloom for additional draw in most decks. Would you consider including Tressured Heirloom or Tainted Oracle?

    - cryptspawn has great synergy with sacrificial lamb but more so in undead decks. Would death Mage thaddeous be a better substitute since they he only cost 50G more?

Hmm, I opted to go for A Legend Rises instead of Treasured Heirloom since for the budget it was advisable to have only one rare attachment for humans. I agree with you on the draw for humans but I made sure every deck has at least 6-7 draw cards (some have way more than). Priests also have 2x Bad Santa to support Chalice.

Cryptspawn worked great for decks running Harbinger and Shadow Knight and was chosen for three decks only. Even in Banebow you can activate it's passive with Shadow Knights. An alternate 3cc ally imo would be Gargoyle not Death Mage Thaddeus goldwise. For most of the other decks Rampant Krygon was the ideal 3cc ally even though it cost way more than Death Mage Thaddeus.

Well, this is unquestionably the most optimized way to play Shadow Era, but i would not enjoy to follow this rigid setup.

On the other hand, if there are enough players willing to follow it, Wulven should consider a super starter pack that does about the same, since all that buying, selling and moving to decks is a lot of work.

I suggest you slow down. You get too excited and everything gets "STICKY"
