I think Ythan is already one of the best heroes in the game. :/
And I hate haste!

Lol if not sarcastic, His skill is good but very hard to work with since he needs allies on the board or hasted allies and he doesn't have the tools to maintain board control once he loses it

I too hope Ythan gets a buff somehow but not just by a single card, hopefully with more smaller improvement with several cards

You need allies first!!! or some crazy shadow energy using item (from tha manufacturers of aldmore) to win game

The attack would probably need to be toned down, as it would be too easy to do 12 damage. Also, I personally would retain the "big bang" style solely to the Ythan twilight deck, as it helps to balance out the drawback of the twilight allies.

I do believe you are on the right track with the "if ally has ambush" approach, summon hunter ally effect and in particular, the gain se effects you listed. Hopefully allies with such effects will be created with Ythan in mind, as it would help keep the pressure on the opponent when his effect is down and the more frequent use of his effect will help to get more mileage out of Surprise Attack.
