My fix for Glimmer of hope

We all know how annoying and cheap wisp/Abomination Factory/GoH decks are. Since Wulven made a tweak to AW, things have been slightly different. However, I think part of the problem is Glimmer of Hope. By the mechanics and the name on the card, it seems GOH is suppose to be a card for when your desperate and need to dig for just the right card.

However, due to Wulven's love affair with discarding, GoH has been abused and using it to power AWs just becomes cheap and not in the flavor of the card.

    So I propose this change:

    Glimmer of Hope
2cc Draw 3 cards at random from your deck. Choose 1 and shuffle the remain 2 back into their owner's deck.

This will solve many of the problems associated GoH abuse with wisps (and now Evolving abominations) and keep with the flavor of the card.

Just as a side note, you don't have to say 'draw at random' because any sequential draw is random assuming the deck has been shuffled. Anyways, putting the unused cards back to the deck seems very decent to me.

    or simple:
Draw 3 cards and exile 2 of them.

    That would work also.

    Absolutely disagree,

Discarding effects are one of the new mechanics from SF and this card is the only reliable discard for humans, removing it will destroy any discard deck for humans and make the card boring.

Remember that AW wasn't changed by being OP at all, but by its lack of interactivity since the game was basically decided by your starting cards, now that this problem seems to be solved, AW discard is perfectly fine.

Discard is literally the only thing that card has going for it, otherwise it's basically a cantrip for 2cc which is awful. If it's changed it will never see any play. No player who is half-decent at this game builds a deck around the expectation that they'll be in a desperate situation. If you do this, you might want to take another look at your deck and find out what cards are making you expect to be in said situation.
