I agree with your change to Xander, it just seems someone made a mistake and did not take into account the card's name at the top. For Cryptspawn, I would keep the artwork horizontally the same but meet halfway vertically between the original and your suggestion.

For the rest of the SF artwork, I think they are fine on a positional basis and any changes to them, would be changing the artwork entirely of a selected few (shadow heroes, oliver and hunter's gambit) with a more representative piece.

the person who framed the artwork at wulven clearly has no sense of aesthetics and hasn't visited a media oriented school. probably the same person who did the 3d battlefield and the ui.

Yo, Skervox I found better with the green, poisoned hands showing his ability to poison other allys and disabling them. The blood is cool and all but I just find it better you can see where his ability comes from.
