Sword Thief needs a boost

currently Sword Thief

is a weaker version of Layarian Seductress

. one less hp and a weaker summon ability (Seductress ability prevents Assassinate from being used, Sword Thief

's does not) yeah, its ability is not restricted by a condition (you can use it anytime as opposed to seductress only being usable if your opponent has equal or greater resources than you) however, that's too little of an advantage for thief to be chosen over seductress.

i think it defeats the whole purpose of class-specific allies if you have class-specific allies so similar yet weaker than their faction counterpart. it means there's no reason to choose the class specific ones over the faction ones.

i would suggest a boost in hp. make thief a 2/4 ally.

.i agree he's just a weaker (different?) Seductress, however he could be of some use with say, Good Contacts

(the card of the top of my head that would give him the edge), and also what u already mentioned, he doesn't have the "more resources" twist

costs about 2 resources too many for it to be a decent card.

The hp is a big difference too...I use seductress over ST in my Rogue decks and I just deal with the resource issue...

I think he definitely needs to be 2/4. He needs more staying power. His job is to take board control right? How can he accomplish that if he can't survive a turn? When I played rogue, I often used to sac Thief if I thought he would die because if he does, it's a waste of a turn and a card.
