The phrase "When that ally is targeted by an ability" would include both friendly and opponent abilities, but that's not how Stoneskin behaves at the moment; it only blocks opponent abilities.

...i am not sure i follow - why would u like to pay(play) an ability only for it to have no effect due to Stoneskin being attached?
edit: i see now, i reckon someone played this against you, thank you Ness

Also, DMT's ability from hand does not remove stoneskin
Stoneskin deserves more appreciation. It's the only ability/attachment that can nullify fuckin Mind Control's effect and destroy it.

Meh. I play a lot of Zaladar, and whilst what you say is true, it's really easy to counter, mainly because you know that's what will happen (unlike Decoy Trap, which does scare me)
So all you need to do is ping with DMT or Rampant Kyrgon, or even with Zal's ability at a push and then MC. It's not really that good because you can see it, unlike Decoy Trap which keeps you guessing.
Interestingly, pinging with DMT ability kills Stoneskin AND lets you play DMT's ability again. Not sure if this is a bug, but seems inconsistent with losing the Mind Control card...
