i do not believe this makes sense. if i play it AFTER the shard was already on the field then gambit should kill that creature. this has to be a bug....since, you know, you dont say "well hold on that card dont count because it has to calculate stuff first before it REDUCES ALLIES HEALTH TO ONE" ok so lets assume this is the way it works.

So if i use victors special and reduce said allies health to one even though its reduced to one already and has had gambit on it, then gambit should activate since it is now calculated into victors special. I.e. victor makes it go to 1, gambit activates, then shard calculates. Shard should always bring it to one NOT wait to see what cards are being played THEN calculate the creature to one. Complete BS.

I call BS on that, too. Poor game design.

It's not intuitive but once you are aware then caps are ok as a mechanic e.g. Crippling blow doesn't reduce attack to 0 it reduces maximum attack to 0.

Does this mean that an ally under the influence of Shard of Power is not killed by Kyrgon's ability as well?

It will die. Only potentially temporary boosts/reductions from an attachment, etc will it avoid death. Permamanet ones like Krygon will
