2v2 threbin ability

Threbins ability state " if an opposing hero or ally enters combat with threbin 2 arcane damage is dealt to that hero or ally."

Now in 2v2, if you activate this ability and both you and your teammate are using threbin as a hero, will they have 2 damage done to their ally for entering combat with your teammates hero even though you activated the ability and your teammate did not?

Heya,

No, Threbin's ability is only referencing himself (the Threbin that activated the ability). For example, activating Threbin's ability doesn't cause your opponent's Threbin to get the benefit as well. If it was meant to work with all cards named Threbin it would have to specify that in the effect text like "all cards with x in their name..." or the like.
