Lightbulb [SF] Aramia - Blanket's Wisp Deck

    Aramia

4x Birgitte Skullborn (or perhaps 4x Ascetic of Aldmor, instead)
    4x Aetherborn Wisp
    4x Tenacious Buccaneer
    2x Thunderstrike Construct

    3x Fireball
    4x Lightning Strike

    3x Glimmer of Hope
    2x Tome of Knowledge

    4x Abomination Factory
    4x Dagger of Fate
    3x Shock Conductor

    2x Ley Line Nexus

    Total + Hero = 40 cards

Fairly standard fair for a Wisp deck, I presume; I'm not sure, because I've been out of the loop for quite a while, and having heard of Wisp decks upon my return, I set out to build one. This build seems to get the least bad opening draws of any with which I have built and played.

Because the deck often runs at no more than 4-5 resources, I'm toying with the idea of using Ascetic of Aldmor instead of Birgitte, who is the standard in Wisp decks. Time will tell if that is an effective choice.

    Enjoy!

Birgitte is what is holding this kind of deck together actually. It is not wisp alone that is powerful because she could easily be countered with a lot of things if she is not hiding behind protector. Considering deck relies on early start so much I would recommend running 4 Glimmer of Hope to fuel the wisp. I am not sure what you need LLN for? You either get mega wisp or don't. If you do, Soul Seeker and Spelleaters won't help your opponent much.

You could look into Fortified Wisp as alternative if early rush with Aetherborn wisp fails.

This. Fortified Wisp adds a lot to the deck.

Look out for T2 (going first) or T3 (going second) Boooomerang! Guaranteed kill to an unbuffed Wisp, even behind a protector!

p.s. Aetherborn Wisp will be changed as soon as 2.83 hits, which is any day now. (Up to 3cc, with health of 4 instead of 2.)

Wow, Fortified Wisp *is* quite the nice addition.

How do you counter this deck with Gravebone?

Aramia going first with a good opening hand
    T1 - Briggite Skullborn
    T2 - Aetherborn Wisp
T3 - Abomination Factory - discards Tenacious Buccaneer into play and have AW buffed to 4/4 & kill my 3/4 ally
T4 - Glimmer of Hope - discards twice to buff AW, SE to put Splicer's Crown in play and exile an ally, AF discards another TB into play and AW is buffed to 9/9. All these only at 2 resources.

By this time with 4 ally for board control, Quite hard for you can take the board back & probably be dead by next turn.
