Prismatic field works during the player's turn

My opponent used Prismatic field's ability and then cast Super Nova, which gave me 10 damages. That is not right, is it?

My opponent used Prismatic field's ability and then cast Super Nova, which gave me 10 damages. That is not right, is it?

I've also dealt with this. They put down Prismatic Field and then on their next turn use Super Nova, dealing a fatal 10 damage. Big time bug.
