I still don't get the "balance" to AW. Like others have said, now it's just going to be a bigger threat 1 turn later..... its a very, very small window to counter.

The major complaint that we cared about was autopiloting and games being largely determined by luck. Delaying AW hitting the board gives more opportunity for choice, more chance to set up, less time until the bigger removal options are available and AW itself starts doing its damage one turn later. Overall, there's more time for the opponent to counter what they are facing, which ensures this is more like a game that two people are playing.

as it should have been. it never really was OP, it just made it extraordinarily easy to set up a "either i win or i lose in 4 turns. make your move" type of deal. games including that card were short, annoying, and shallow. but never unbeatable.
