To be honest, banning simultaneously does not really make a difference. We will know each other's heroes anyways, and we will ban according to that hero's available card pool, so whoever bans first will not make a difference imo.

If for example I use Zaladar and my opponente bans 5+ then I MUST ban his 5+ cards because I can't deal with fatties without Mind Control. If I don't know that, then I have to guess a little bit more, and I think there are several other cases when that's an important knowledge.
