My only problem with the current battlefield is that it is very hard to play on an iPhone , i have no problem playing SE on Ipad though .

Digital effects are nice but that is not what provides longevity for this type of game. MTG was around far before anything was digital. It has survived because of the rate of content release. Rather than releasing a new set of 200 cards every 2 years, it would probably be better to release 30 new cards every 3 months (for example) until the full set is released. You're still releasing the same amount of cards in total but spread out over time so that the meta is always getting an update. This keeps the game fresh.

The automated tournaments are now 99.5% done and coming soon

Seriously though, the next update is a major bugfix marathon that hopes to solve almost all of the outstanding known issues, as well as adding reconnection to games, which is really needed once we start charging entry fees for tournaments. I'm not going to hazard a release date guess, but this as well as tournaments are scheduled for the next live update but will make an appearance on the test server first. We don't only work on one thing at a time, as 3d battlefields are still many months off.

looking forward to see it, and hope there will be way to get tickets to play the tornament without shadow crystal. it definately is needed for newers.


btw, how many artworks have you collected for SF so far?
Maybe not only me but many players like to hear 80 or 90% done it rather than other features.

I do like the idea of exploring the digital medium, but if the 3d battlefield be like the first image in this thread, then I would rather not have it.

Came and took a second glance today...
It still looks pretty bad, please enhance the current board configuration and forget this HS ripoff.
I'm afraid this will ruin the whole game

I think the shown 3d battlefield looks indeed nice and would be a good addition to the game.
However, please don't change scale/zoom of carde etc. The current configuration is very useful and neat on tablets.
Also the camera movement is fine so far... Don't know why some people are complaining.

I meant the camera movement. As far as I remember there were complaints on other threads. The battlefield design is of course similar to HS.
