I don't want to make real money from my legendaries. I just want to sell then for what I paid for them

This is sparking some good debate.
Personally, I like the fact that cards are hard to obtain, beyond requiring SC/gold. Makes it more like an actual trading card game, that it's tough to get a full set and you have to trade with friends and buy em on the market and all that. The Auction - when it comes - will do a good job of stimulating that.
That said, if you offered Scourge for 100sc right now, I would instantly put some money in the game and buy a few (I'm out of SC). Instantly.

I feel like I'm the only who would buy karlstad. I have 3 scourge (the most I ever will need) and I would like to have 2-3 Karstad for my Lance deck (of which I have 0)

All the auction will do is drive the prices up even higher. The players with the most gold will just outbid the poorer ones and resell for a higher price. You would like to think it wouldn't happen, but if that were the case you'd be able to get Bad Santas and Jasmines right now wouldn't you. I've been around gaming long enough to know that if there is a way to make a buck off someone else's misfortunes, a buck will be made. Whereas a person like me gets my required limit and merchants the rest so others might get a chance to buy something. All we're dealing with here is some lines of code. Not an actual physical thing you can own.
I'm old, experienced, and usually right. So eyes open, mouth shut, and you might learn a thing or two.
How will it drive prices up even higher from "unobtainable" which is more or less what they are now?
Yes, the price will be higher than the merchant, but they'll be accessible which is the point. Plus if the merchant consistently gives a handful from time to time, it'll present the opportunity to have some at a lower cost if lucky.
And as I said, I don't have a problem with the fact that some cards are difficult to get, or in the case of within an auction system, very expensive. Makes it more like a tcg. But providing an auction system where at least the cards can be redistributed would make it better by giving more people access.
Price too high? Don't buy it. That's kind of how the world works too. Based on supply and demand, eventually they'll settle in at a price where people are willing to pay it if they have it and no more no less.
They're supposed to be legendary cards. In MtG not everyone owns the rarest cards either. And like I said, even a high price is better than "almost impossible to even see in the merchant" which is the current state of affairs.

How to make a TCG so expensive in just a few years ? Players run markets and autions , simple . I have yet seen a game with an aution system that's supposed to " make cards easier to be aquired for the players "
It's always good to go back to your previous achievement and realize how mediocre it was , because it means that you have improved a lot since that time
