    Daily Quests

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but whatever, figured I'd bring it up.

I played a fair bit of Hearthstone over the last month since a friend is into it. Personally I think it mostly blows, but damned if I don't sign on EVERY day to get a daily quest and maybe complete it for the gold.

I know the idea of daily rewards for signing on has been thrown around, but I feel like a quest would be better. It would require actual activity, might be fun or challenging, etc. It would be a great way to keep people thinking about and engaging in Shadow Era literally every day and would help reduce the "Premium" cost part of the "Freemium" game.

Anyway, at some point I'm going to post a larger review of SE vs HS and what SE can learn. Spoiler alert: SE is a vastly superior game but way way WAY behind in most of the "bells and whistles" and interface/ease of use type of things.

    Cheers,

That's no "spoiler", except for the fact it does spoil SE somewhat. Let's hope we can sort that out!

I reckon Daily Quests using specific heroes would be good (different ones given to different people of course!). It's not like actual Rating matters much any more, since prizes are based a lot on activity. If Rating really really does matter to people then a Casual mode could be added to cater for people doing quests and wanting to test decks without putting their Rating on the line.

+1... Rating should matter somehow, it gives people a reason to climb and keep playing/ buying or promoting product by public usage. How rating gets sorted out to matter, I don't know?

But a quest daily or weekly would bring people back for rewards and the challenge of beating the challenge.

I personally love daily quests in games, something fresh for the day or week with some small rewards, I think it's a great way to reward those people who play regularly.

Daily rewards have been spoiled by wulven games and i believe with their next update we might see singles in the merchant.

Boo, though. Rewards for logging on? Come on, give us a quest. Win two matches with Serena. Kill two opponents with a fireball. Destroy 25 allies.
A reward for just logging on is a little cheap to me.

But whatever. I log in every day. I'm ready to enjoy it.

Daily Quests are a great way of promoting activity. It'll make the game more fun to play for casual players.

    This is a great idea!!

But I think it should be randomly selected for each person. I mean, so that everyone isn't playing Serena the same day.

It definitely would be good to see different decks and I think it would make it more fun. And being not a requirement, if you don't want to you wouldn't have to. Maybe there could be a skip option (Max 3 skips) in the case of new players not having that hero or specific card, etc.
