Upcoming SF Balance Changes!

Hey, everyone!

I'm pleased to confirm the following balance changes have been implemented and are due to hit in the next update. They are based on game stats, player feedback and discussion within the DT.

It's quite likely some of your decks will be affected by these changes, so please update them accordingly.


Fates 001 Tala Pureheart: Hero ability cost reduced to 3SE (from 4SE).

Fates 014 Twilight Shaman: Health reduced by 1. Ability changed to “Friendly Twilight allies have +2 health.” from “Friendly Twilight allies have +1 health.”

Fates 015 Zailen Crusader: Health reduced to 3 (from 4).

Fates 035 Nathanias, People’s Champion: Ability changed to “When Nathanias is summoned, draw a card: if that card is an ally, it is summoned at no cost.” from “When Nathanias is summoned, draw a card: if that card is an ally, it is summoned at no cost; otherwise, it is discarded.”

Fates 056 Falseblood Cultist: Health reduced to 3 (from 4).

Fates 137 Road Less Traveled: Casting cost increased to 3 (from 2).

Fates 189 Pithing Spear: Removed from Hunter pool. Cost reduced to 3 (from 4). Durability reduced to 3 (from 4).

Fates 195 Thoughtripper’s Cutlass: Moved to Rogue/Elemental (from Rogue/Hunter).


If there are some cards not mentioned there that you think need tweaking, it's likely they are still on our Watch List(s), but we do not yet have enough evidence, or have not seen enough risk, to make changes to them.

Some card bug fixes and new artwork will also be in that update.

The Aetherborn Wisp is still not nerfed. Watch TJ daddy is here vs Pjoe0211. It was Gwenneth vs Aramia. My point is proven there.

Awesome, glad to hear the changes are making it! I'll definitely have to test Tala now that she isn't so slow.

Sorry, I don't know. But we're closer than we were a couple of weeks ago.
