Thx I'm about 300 points ahead now and well out of time to play now. Stopped at 640, shielded and will resume dominance later. I've only skipped 2 games. 1 against Spider-Man like lvl 122 and the other against the guy in 2nd place. I didn't want to give him a retaliation option, though I've only been attacked once and gained 27 point from winning. Love this event

As to when to stop, well it depends on your bracket but I generally wouldn't even consider myself marginally safe until I had 750-800.

Depends on the situation. Usually it'll be 300-400 if I'm really going for it. This last event I earned 907 points about 18hrs out (was over 200 away from the next guy) so I dropped the full day shield and just rode it out.

For 2 day PvP events:

Well.... Since I am one of those who put money into the game, I am also one of those who break shield , attack and shield again. Starting at the start time is important, then I will shield for 1 day.

Yup, when I am #1 and among my random checks, I see #2 break his shield and I will break mine and hunt for him, since if I beat him, I increase the gap.

In the end, others were better than me and I ended being 4th. The top 5 were way ahead of #6. We were all around 950+.

Today I realized matching critical tiles with environment tiles in desert or jungle is highly beneficial. Especially if you have one of those heroes that have 4 e. tile match value. Actually in desert it doesn't matter that much as long as you use MStorm. Jungle is where it's good. I did get lots of e. tile before via accidentally matching crits with them but I hadn't paid enough attention to realize how good it is till now.
