A lot of work on 28th /29th, flying off to Japan on 30th wee hrs. Work trip there till 8th. No internet, even if there is, I won't have time to play MPq......

I don't want to be a burden to any alliance.

I probably have some time to kill in transit, via airport wifi but let's not count on that.

After the 8th, when I am back, I may have totally quit MPq since I am expected to follow up on the work done in Japan so....

We'll see how things go then.


That said, I do love LRs and PvP a lot so I might just play that , after the 8th. Pve are pretty much dead to me. It's far too grindy and becoming like work. Wait, it's already 'work' for the last 3 pve. Did not enjoy them at all but had to do my part for alliance.

I dont go hardcore in PvE too. Too much of a chore to deal with. Unless I really want/need the reward though.

i am no pvp miracle worker and I am still only 1 person. this game is p2w and those maxed LTs were created by rich new players who bought and maxed out LT once they had a cover of each color.

Well, it is possible to get a f2p LT (I only paid for one cover of mine, and I've won that cover twice since then), BUT when he was first released they gave out stacks of covers as rewards. I had a 2/4/4 LT a week after release without paying a cent.

I share the same opinion as PB. It's possible to get a F2P LT.

Well, I'm not F2P... but after my spending spree, which I have around 5 covers, the rest I obtained it from PVP and random tokens.

In season 1, there was 1 pvp which gave 3 LT covers. In season 2, patch pvp gave 3 LT covers. I also just got my 1100 profession reward of a red LT cover.

So I just got a 4/4/5 Lthor without spending any money on his covers.

I have come to the conclusion that pvp is the most efficient way of getting covers. But before you get there, you need to have a good 3* rosters (for pvp) and to get into a good alliance.

This takes time.

Just a month ago in season 1, I was only aiming for top 50 with max pun and lazy cap. Hulk was subsequently max, and in the last 2 weeks I got my max patch. Now I could aim to get 1100 profession reward (albeit with sufficient tanking). I have been lucky with some pulls and now have a max cover cmag and Lthor. Things will get easier for me from now on...

My advice: go at a comfortable pace and aim for a level appropriate for your roster. Eventually you get there. If you want to pay, buy specific covers for the 3* you have the most.

Guys think I should focus on Punisher or Lazy Cap? Those two 3* I have the most covers of.

Also Raph, does continually losing at 0 points in Shield Sim still deduct points? Or do you need some points to work with?

I should pay more attention to the rewards. I've been fighting to stay in the Top 25 when I can easily just stay at Top 50 for the same cover prize minus 500 ISO. Duh!

Wish I could have gotten to Top 10 to fully cover my hood but I guess that will have to wait another month or so. I'd really like to have him so I don't rely so much on OBW.
