I played a couple of matches with Rothem and it was pretty fun. My rating is super low because I haven't played live in quite awhile so I didn't exactly get the best opponents. Besides I bet the deck stunk too, I just wanted to use my shiny new stuff! :3

I don't see much draw to play Loest. Most games you'd only get the ability off 2 times, maybe 3. And what would you spend it on? You know Gwen is packing more than one SS. You know Zhanna is packing more than one Aeon.
Ideally you have better ways to get rid of those things anyway.
I just can't see any single thing the opponent has being worth spending a once every 5 turns ability on, when other heroes have abilities that can be used more often but pack less of a punch.
Keep in mind that Loest isn't just turn 5 vs 4. It's 10 vs 8 (or 6). Then 15 vs 12 (or 9)
Rothem looks more playable to me. Save it for the right moment when you have the right guys down. Beat face.

Loest has a great deal of flexibility. You pack LLN as normal, nova as normal, artful squire as normal. His ability is to deal with the stuff you simply couldn't by conventional means. It also allows you to do so at a time when you can take the board. In SF he also has ally autokill spell, but in DP will need to rely on more old fashioned ally removal.

I thought Loest ability was slow, but I'm changing my mind.
Use Sun Blighted One in place of Priest of the Light and you have in fact a 4SE ability which can exile anything.
It can be dangerous to gift SE to the opponent sometimes, but in a burn deck it doesn't matter SO much.
Rothem seems a lot weaker, the new Logan. I can't find a way to make it really competitive.
Interesting. I'll defer to you guys then. I haven't had much chance to play lately with a busy week or two. I've just been spending my time daydreaming and theorycrafting ;-)

Messed around with Loest a bit last night......Mainly to flex all my new bling at 0 rated noobs.
Actually quite enjoyable. As usual I will get addicted, tune my deck to get my rating as high as I can, then get p!ssed when I lose and rage quit shadow era for a while.
