The pc client has not been updated yet.
The standalone has not been updated yet. You have to use the Web version,

PC client update is now available!
...unfortunately, I can't get past the updating screen...
It stalled at 100%, then at 66%
I'm restarting and will try again, when that's done....
Restarting worked fine.

No, it doesn't update by itself. You can see the current version on the log in screen, it's in the right bottom corner

thanks. seems like i still have the old version. it doesn't update by itself. when i log into the game, client says game is updated, lol. i'll have to download the installer again.
