I'm using a Kindle Fire, and Google play is kind of a pain to get working on it. I can only find version 2.8211 in the appstore.
You don't have to find SE in google play, but you have to install Google Play on your phone to see AI and chest.

I dont know whats worse, the game breaking bug that is denying a fun game to new players (albeit a proper introduction to the way Wulven prioritizes problems)

The fact this game relies on google play to function. Surely this problem can be erased and shadow era can stand alone...

I appreciate the help, but I really don't like trying to get Google Play to work on my Kindle. I guess I'll just stick with online mode to see if I like it.
To repeat what was said, you don't need to get google play to work and you don't need to use it. But you do have to install it. Nothing more.

"Google Play" wont work on the "Kindel Fire" unless you ROOT it.
Why should i root my Device just for a Game that worked fine until the update changed it.
Ive you know how to get "google play" installed without root then let us know.
I´m mad i paid money for the game and know it wont work right, even the "bonus chest" doesn't work.
I had to buy a Kindle Fire to find out what the problem was, but it has been fixed and v2.85 submitted to Amazon. They should approve it soon...
Thanks for the help. I can now see the missions after installing Google Play, you don't actually have to get it to work or root anything.
