So update finally comes out for ios but app no longer loads for me. Can't even get it 1 sec into the main screen. Is it a app problem or not good enough device? I'm on a iPod 4th gen

I had the same thing happen on the same device. Updating to iOS 6.1.6 solved it for me.
What about windows phone?

I have some very lagging game (like timeout every turn), but not because of connection of its players.
How can I said that? its because:
both of us ping some international server like google, etc. The result was good.
both of us tried menu--> status. the result pop up below 1 second.
both of our last game was good and not lagging.
So if the client dont have problem, the internet connection was good, is it something on server side?
This happen about 10% of my games, the rest are good and swift.
Anyone else with the same issues?
