is an item, not an ability. I think, to items and allies apply the same rules. If an item is too powerful, it could become unique.

Most items cannot stack because they grant an overall effect, such as War Banner

was changed to be limited to 1 in play to be consistent

Lawlz point in case about putting down. Well it does make sense for all ongoing effects and allies that have ongoing effects a la Aldon

to be unique, 1 in play per player.
