It's difficult to use well but it IS extremely powerful, and will only get better as the tribe fleshes out more. I run it as my only item destruction in my ravager decks and it's sometimes frustrating that you can't just 'use' it, rather you need to wait for the right opportunity. I won't comment on whether it needs a nerf because I haven't been on the receiving end of any beatings with it. Honestly I feel it fits the theme with ravagers really well. I know if I see ravagers in play not to rely too much on my items since they have a habit of disappearing, and that I definitely can't let them lock the board down, which they do really well, however they don't really help each other win the board.

Yeah I don't know. I think the ravagers deserve an awesome item destruction card like Obelisk. They're super combo-y. So I mean playing obelisk, playing the 3cc haste guy (who I can't think of his name) kill opponents ally, destroy item with Obelisk is kind of what it's all about. . . Plus every time you play against a deck where Obelisk absolutely destroys you, you're going to play against a deck that's running Obelisk and can't get it to work.

I agree with Rayzie. They can lock the board but it takes soooooo much effort and planning ahead to achieve that. I had games where Obelisk just sit there doing nothing or when I was forced to use it for Zealot, etc. What I am trying to say is join the dark side and see it for yourself if it is that good of a deal. I also found a flaw and those are decks that do not rely on items/abilities, yet use burst draw and insta kill stuff. Against them Obelisk is almost useless.

Yeah, but even with no use for the ability, it's still a 1cc thing to blow up to trigger other Ravager bonuses. So then you can hit with your Frying Pan instead of blowing it up.
