Devils Cup - Qualifying tournaments

Every country with at least 3 registered players will have its own qualifying tournament to determine final teams for the Devils Cup. Every tournament will use the Swiss format and the duration will vary according to the number of players:

• 3 players: that country skip this stage and the team is formed
• 4 players: 2 rounds of Swiss
• 5-8 players: 3 rounds of Swiss
• 9-16 players: 4 rounds of Swiss
• 17-32 players: 5 rounds of Swiss

Every round will last 7 days, if you can't contact your opponent or play vs him keep me informed into this topic.
Each match victory will give you 1 point, a draw will count as half point.
At the end of tournament top 3 players will form the national team. Challonge tiebreaker and eventual coin flips will solve ties.

Match rules are:

• deck lock for a round, you can change deck against another opponent
• best of 3 all rounds, alternate start for game 1 and 2
• draws or sync errors have to be replayed, starting order will be random during game 1 and 3
• if a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless both players agree to a draw for that game
• you must report match results into this topic

Seedings
Once signups will close I will divide 90 lottery numbers among players of each nation. For example if one country has 7 players we have 90 / 7 = 12 numbers for each player. The standard split will be:

• 1-12 will be assigned to the first registered player
• 13-24 will be given to the second player to sign up
• ...
• 73-84 will be given to the 7th player
• 85-90 are unused

I will use this numbers during Italian lottery extraction of Saturday March 1st at 20:00 GMT+0... first player to have one of his numbers appear into lottery results will be seed #1 and I will proceed until all players are seeded. You can see results here. I will read numbers in order from Bari #1 to Nazionale #5.
What if I can't assign all seeds with 55 drawn numbers?
I will remake the split involving only players who were left out, re-start from Bari #1 and then assign remaining seeds.
What if they cheat during extracions?
The rake is 66% so I don't think they have to cheat in order to get a profit

I know Rothem and Loest are part of the game now, and Kickstarter was a nice deal from Wulven... but they came in the middle of the tournament with balancing in progress and not everybody owns them, so they are not legal in this tournament.

Draws during last Swiss round are banned!
I will keep giving them in 4-men Swiss, because they have no impact to the final ranking.

Draws in that rule refer to single games only, you cant draw a match and restart it

Swiss is rounds of random pairings of opponents that are matched up according to win loss and tiebreakers to put it an easy way
