IPads, what do you use them for?

Hey guys, I'm considering purchasing an Ipad Air. Having one could help with my work and make playing some of my games on a bigger screen (phone sucks to play games on ). Not to mention its nice to just get away from the computer for awhile, sit out on the couch in the living room or something. However, I've never owned an ipad so I was curious the kind of other things you guys use it for?

I don't have one either, but I think the most obvious answer is like you say, being able to play games like Shadow Era on a bigger screen

lol yeah I know. But I'm just trying to get an idea of what other reasons people use them for so that I can get the most of mine when I get it.

Games, email, and general internet browsing. The same stuff you use your phone for on the couch or in bed, but better.

Doorstops and child distraction. Thats what our iPad is used for.

Guess where I am typing this post from? I'm lying down on my bed and using my Ipad Mini...just doing stuff. There are a lot of perks to having a tablet. Watching videos, reading reddit, PORN, playing games, read manga Anytime, anywhere, whether your on a kayak or driving or even at Mcdonalds eating your food or even while making love to a woman in order to find new positions to try. (Place it on her back while you....) anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I only have a suggestion for you. Read about other tablets out there. Apple products = most expensive. We are practically paying for the name. When ipad mini came out I was so set on having it that I failed to browse around for other tablets. After I purchased my ipad mini, I regretted it because of the options out there being cheaper and have more room to play with in terms of expandable memory. Also, repairs are cheaper for other products. Trust me $170 bucks for screen repair.

Overall, I love my ipad I use it for college and definitely can't see myself living without. I don't bring anything else to class besides my ipad because I run a paperless system. Lol.

Also, if your getting an ipad. Jailbreak it. So much more functionality =]

P.S. Have a bunch of friends and bored? Gather everyone around your ipad and play Monopoly =]

Unless it gives you access to more, and stranger, porn than I don't imagine typical users would benefit much.

Jailbreaking has a lot of perks.
1. download apps for free.
2. customize your ipad. Like changing icons, dock, color, spacings, flipping page, lock screens, changing carriers on status bar and etc.
3. Tweaks. Gestures to do whatever commands you want. (ex. Swipe for left of screen to Open safari)
4. Pandora downloader download songs from pandora, music downloader, many more
5. Record the screen of your ipad. It's like fraps for ipad
6. Overall, increased usefulness. =] there are a lot more tweaks that I can't think of the moment but are definitely useful
