    Regimental Chess

There's not many players in this yet (hasn't been out that long, and is very much an indie title)... just curious if anyone else had tried it out - the little bit I've played so far has been quite fun... (doing research for a potential GamerFi on it)

(It's like chess...but with tactics a bit more in line with an actual battlefield)

That sounds interesting, I'll give it a look after awhile, but I haven't heard of it.

This video shows basic things. Looks tricky as hell. I prefer the 'less' trickier classic

o.o after watching this.... I shouldn't play it. I stink at regular chess.

    Similar to actual chess?

Yea... I'm doing research on it for a GamerFi... looked into it when a friend mentioned a part-time employment opportunity (marketing) with them... I turned it down because my specialty was market research, not active marketing (back when I did that kind of thing) - not to mention it would mean weird ethical things for my channel.

You could just go "I can let you pay me in order to play and commentate on your game but if it's shit, people will hear that it's shit".

No moral hit as long as you make sure people know that even if you are paid, you will be honest about the game.

It doesn't work this way. No company would agree to such a deal (unless you are a top celebrity, then any mention is valuable).
And because of that, no one would believe that a paid for review was truly impartial.
