(Kudos to Caitlyn for the name )
Okay, so this is my first deck post for Shattered Fates, and it’s for an old favourite of mine, Gwen.

3 x Aldon the Brave
3 x Layarian Seductress
3 x Woodland Spotter
4 x Tainted Oracle

3 x Rapid Fire
2 x Ley Line Nexus
4 x Raven's Gambit
3 x Soul Seeker
4 x Thoughtripper's Cutlass
40 cards including hero
How’s it work?
This deck is designed solely to abuse Thoughtripper’s Cutlass. With Gwen’s durability and damage buffs she can get immense value out of each one. You want to draw out your opponent’s allies and weaken them enough (through attacks, PA and Raven’s Gambit) to prepare for the Rapid Fire powered chaos. Once you get one pair of swings in your opponent is usually in trouble. And it’s quite common for me to pull 4-5 discards off each weapon (sometimes more).
So this is not a deathracing Gwen like most people are used to. This is a shutdown deck. You aim to starve your opponent of answers so you can attack them with impunity. And the best part is that with Rapid Fire you generally stand a good chance of discarding any Item D they may have, even if their hand is almost full.
The Spotter
Gwen is now way more consistent with the inclusion of Woodland Spotter. This guy is great because he’ll generally survive turn 4 (particularly if you have an ally presence out), paving the way for a buffed weapon swing a turn earlier than expected. And when you shut down your opponent’s hand chances are much better that he’ll survive until you get a more permanent solution in Rapid Fire. Still, keep spares of him around because he will die.
Draw
All burst draw here. It’s something that I’ve found really works with human hunters since my experiments with Victor. Raven’s Gambit is money and I am foreseeing all hunters will run a full set of these because the draw and control they provide is priceless. Tainted Oracle is the other ubiquitous draw card here, and is useful as always.
Conclusion
This thing is brutal when it gets rolling, and can really tear down decks that don’t have strong draw. Even warriors can have trouble dealing with the constant discards.
Well, with the changes to Thoughtripper's Cutlass (Hunters are losing access) this deck is redundant.
Sorry Gwen, time to get a real job
