New SF Hero Art Work

As this is in Beta things may change before the cards are released into production.

But what are your thoughts on first seeing these cards?

Is the quality of the drawing at a standard you'd expect?
Are you happy with the new Aramia image?

Completely agree. The original artwork was beautiful and displayed Aramia with youth and innocence. (The new art is just another 'sexual' female character)

Aramia - i would also prefer the old art back
Garth - when i hear 'Rogue' i picture something stealthy, dark, hiding in the shsadows...definitely not a shiny golden armor, would prefer him to look more similar to Serena/Lance
Threbin/Tala - lookin solid
Ythan - where's all that gold from? has there been a SALE somewhere?...similar to what i said abt Garth, is just hard to imagine a hunter (elf?) runnin around in woods in a shiny golden armor

...as for the quality of the presented art as such, it looks amazing, always luved the SE art, just get rid of some of that gold please xD

I hated the old Aramia. I like this one more, but it would be even better without the cleavage.

I like Ythan and Aramia, even though I liked her old art too. I don't care for Garth at all.
Tala is fine aside from the weird proportions.
Threbin in would be awesome without the goofy look on his face

I like the new art for Aramia. She now looks like a destructive force that possesses powerful magic. I bet the card will look awesome as a foil. However, Garth I dislike due to the wierdly flowing cap and odd looking face mask. Additionally, unless he hets his poison damage back, the green sword looks out of place. If he's really unbalanced, please just up the cost.

For me it's not much about sexuality: I like boobs.
It's that dumb "Barbie doll playing with fireworks" look that I find horrible in the new Aramia artwork.

Love Threbin and Ythan, Garth not so much, but he's still fine.

Poll: Is there any artwork that isn't up to scatch and shouldn't make it past beta?


I dont think we (wulven and SE players) are in the position to have the luxury to accept & reject SF art so far (in order to deliver SF to real server as soon as possible).

Maybe, Aramia old art was to expensive (the artist agreed wulven may used it on beta before the contract signed). So wulven end up using an alternative one?

Would u prefer rejecting an art (that maybe allready paid by wulven to its artist, then if not used it would be useless) and add more time to SF delivery time?
