    Exile vs Steadfast

    Hi there,
Does 'exiling' never work on steadfast allies?
When an ally hast steadfast because an attachment it wears can the ally be removed or the attachment only?
    And finally,
When there is a Text on the card which say '...can only be removed if killed/durability goes to Zero' is it possible to exile that card?

Is Derkan the Bone King exile resistant?

Thanks for answering that hole bunch of questions

    Heya,

Indeed, exiling will never work on an ally with steadfast because exiling an ally removes it from the game without killing it. Exiling an ally is more comparable to returning an ally to your hand or deck then it is to killing it (it moves the ally rather than kills it). For reference, the only way to be killed is to have your health dropped to 0. As such, steadfast will block all of the effects that try to remove your ally from play without reducing its health to 0.

If you wanted to exile an ally that had an attachment that was giving it steadfast, you would first have to remove the attachment it's bearing and then exile the ally in question.

Der'kan does not have Steadfast, so he is not exile resistant. In fact, exiling Der'kan is a great way to get around his pesky resurrection ability.

    Hope that helps!
